Economic Policy

  • For expanding affordable/supportive housing; pushed for over $140 million for emergency shelter beds, permanent supportive housing, and mental health services; passed policy banning landlord discrimination based on source of income

  • For labor unions and worker protections; passed prevailing wage ordinance, Worker Heat Safety ordinance, and raised wages for thousands of city workers
