Policy Positions

Economic Policy

  • For tax relief, including having worked alongside President Trump to pass what the text calls the largest tax cut in history, ending taxes on tips, overtime pay, and Social Security benefits; and, as governor, for freezing property taxes and repealing Governor Evers' tax increase (described in the text as a "400-year tax increase").
  • For expanding "baseload power" generation to lower energy costs, and for cutting regulations to make housing, childcare, and healthcare more affordable.

Business & Labor

  • For supporting Wisconsin farmers through dairy, ginseng, and mink farm support programs; For repealing the estate tax (referred to in the text as the "death tax"); Against wind and solar energy projects being sited on farmland; Against foreign (specifically Chinese) ownership of Wisconsin farmland.

Education

  • For education reform, including higher academic standards and public "report cards" on school performance, directing education funding to students, teachers, and local communities rather than "the system," merit-based pay increases for high-performing teachers, and accountability measures for school leaders; Against curricula that frame students as "oppressors" or "victims" based on race.

Environment

  • For delisting the gray wolf from the Endangered Species List; Against increases to hunting and fishing license fees.

Civil Rights

  • For restricting girls' school sports and locker rooms to biological females; For requiring able-bodied adults without children to work in order to receive welfare benefits.

Immigration & Foreign Affairs

  • For strict immigration enforcement, including securing the border, banning sanctuary cities, and withholding federal funding from state and local governments that refuse to enforce immigration law.

Public Safety

  • For increased law enforcement funding and resources; Against "revolving door" criminal justice policies that return repeat offenders to the streets.
