Business & Labor
- For limiting collective bargaining rights for public workers; supported Governor Walker's budget repair bill restricting collective bargaining for most public employees
Health Care
- Against federal COVID-19 mask mandates; opposed a statewide face mask mandate and supported a lawsuit against Governor Evers for implementing one
- Against the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare); pushed legislation to prevent the incoming Wisconsin governor from withdrawing from a lawsuit seeking to repeal the ACA
Civil Rights
- Against abortion rights; voted no on the Women's Health Protection Act (which would have codified the right to abortion), and explicitly states he will defend 'the right to life'
Voting Rights & Democracy
- Against mail-in voting expansion; opposed calls to delay the April 2020 election or make it an entirely mail-in election during the COVID-19 pandemic
- Against certifying 2020 presidential election results; objected to counting Arizona's and Pennsylvania's electoral votes in the 2020 presidential election
- Against reducing early voting access; supported lame-duck legislation to reduce the time allowed for early voting in Wisconsin (courts previously struck down a similar law for intentionally discriminating on the basis of race)
