  • Against 9/11 first responders health funding; voted against the Zadroga Act in 2010 and blocked legislation to replenish funds in 2015

Environment

  • Against climate change action; denied climate change and encouraged states not to comply with Obama's Clean Power Plan
  • For the Keystone XL pipeline; made it a priority and disputed environmental concerns

  • Against the Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1987
