- For teachers being obligated to out students sexual and gender orientation to parents
Environment
- For 'all of the above' energy policy including solar, wind, geo-thermal, and biofuels to achieve American energy independence
- For the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative to protect water resources and stop harmful algal blooms

- Against a national abortion ban, especially one without exceptions for rape, incest or life of the mother; opposes criminalization of reproductive healthcare
