Immigration & Foreign Affairs
- For a pathway to legal status for undocumented immigrants; voted for the Farm Workforce Modernization Act granting legal status to undocumented agricultural workers with a pathway to permanent residency, and cosponsored the DIGNIDAD Act proposing a pathway to legal status for up to 12 million undocumented immigrants paired with stricter border enforcement
- For expanded H-2B guest worker visas; voted to nearly double available H-2B visas for FY 2020
- Against prohibiting ICE cooperation with HHS on detaining or removing undocumented sponsors of unaccompanied minors; voted for the Consolidated Appropriations Act (H.R. 1158) which effectively blocks such cooperation
- For military aid to Ukraine; voted to provide approximately $14 billion in military aid to Ukraine in 2022
