Policy Positions

Against corporate tax breaks and subsidies for companies that outsource jobs overseas; for rewarding corporations only when they create good-paying jobs domestically and respect workers' rights

For economic policies that prioritize workers over corporate profits, including stronger wages, protections from cost-of-living increases, and ending tax and subsidy advantages that favor corporations and the wealthy over working families
For workers' right to organize and join unions without intimidation or retaliation, and for stronger legal protections against employer retaliation for organizing or speaking up about workplace conditions
For maintaining and strengthening workplace safety regulations, opposing characterization of worker protections as burdensome 'red tape'
For investing in American manufacturing and skilled trades to strengthen domestic supply chains and reduce dependence on foreign labor and production

For healthcare that is not tied to employment, supporting portable and dependable healthcare coverage so job changes do not cause loss of coverage
For increased transparency in healthcare pricing and coverage, and against a system that allows surprise bills and coverage denials to create confusion and hidden costs for patients
